Making an Appointment
An appointment system is in operation. You will be offered the first available appointment with a doctor or nurse. If you wish to see a particular Doctor there may be a delay in the appointment being given. However, if a request is made to see a particular Doctor in the Practice this will be arranged. We have some appointments which are released ‘on the day’ to allow access to a doctor for urgent cases. If you feel your condition is medically urgent the emergency appointments are released at 08:00 each morning. It is important not to abuse this system.
Routine appointments can be made via online services.
Sick note requests are not classed as a Medical Emergency
Sick Children
Sick children will be given priority for emergency appointments. Please telephone at the allocated times 08:00 for an appointment.
Telephone Advice
Telephone consultations will be released at 08:00 am everyday. The receptionist will take your contact number and the GP/Nurse will call you back.
If no appointments are available you can access Minor Ailments Services at the Chemist or attend the local Primary Care Walk in Centre.
For general emergency advice contact 111 where a team of qualified staff are on call to deal with your medical concern.
